She-Wolf of London (1990 TV series)
The bulk of She Wolf of London's episodes were filmed in England, and had their special makeup effects devised by Christopher Tucker. The werewolf form of series lead Randi Wallace was achieved as a full-body prosthetic makeup applied to Diane Youdale, consisting of makeup on the legs and torso, and a latex mask sculped with a furrowed brow and muzzle.
A male werewolf suit was also fabricated, with a larger and more wolf-like mask, mechanized to allow the jaws to open and eyes to swivel, worn with the prosthetics.
By the end of the series, financial issues forced the production to move back to Los Angeles, with the makeup effects now being handled by an LA team, Bryan Moore and Dean Gates chief among them. The new werewolf was more of a wolfman design, consisting of facial appliances worn with a hair suit, gloves and prosthetic feet. Underneath the hairsuit were sculpted pieces to still give Randi a feminine figure.
The new werewolf suit barely appeared in the remaining episodes, which had now been retitled to 'Love and Curses' in an attempt to make it appear less like a horror thing, and ergo more marketable.
Howlever, Moore's team in LA supplied various other special makeups, such as the goblins in 'Curiosity Killed the Cravitz'.
Moore's team also devisted a pastiche of the iconic Jack Pierce Wolfman makeup for 'Bride of the Wolfman'.
The transformed rat-person in 'Mystical Pizza' was also a latex prosthetic mask, with static hand appliances and rat-shaped dentures.
