The Twilight Zone (2019)

The third and most recent reboot of The Twilight Zone helmed by Jordan Peele; Bill Terezakis handled the series' special makeup effects. The episode 'A Traveler' utilized puppetry for when Steven Yeun's character transforms into an alien; the puppet was designed to resemble Yeun's face but with glassy Grey-like eyes. The puppet could be operated to stretch the neck, as if Yeun's body was elongating on camera.

Further puppetry and prosthetics were required for when Yeun's alien, fully transformed, eats some pie in a close-up shot. According to Variety's 'How Practical Puppeteering Aided in Pivotal ‘Twilight Zone’ Reveal', this was achieved with a hand puppet operated off-camera by Sandy DaCosta, with prosthetic makeups applied to Keith Arbuthnot. The prosthetic was flexible enough that Arbuthnot could actually eat the pie slice on camera.

The episode 'You Might Also Like' had a return of the Kanamits; these were realized in a similar manner to the original episode, with a prosthetic headpiece and facial makeup for Sheyi Ryane as the Kanamit Queen.
