Space Rangers (1993)
The special makeup effects for the short-lived scifi series were overseen by Tony Gardner's Alterian Studios in the pilot episode, with make-up supervision later overseen by Ed French. French would get an Emmy nomination for his work on Space Rangers, shared with Marvin Westmore. Alterian's work was mostly for the titular aliens of the episode 'Banshees', realized as a puppet.
French realized the Vee'Lons in the episode 'Death Before Dishonor', reptilian humanoids with frills and scaly cranial ridges. The first image was kindly provided to me by Ed French himself via email.
Other alien makeups were used in the episodes 'To Be or Not to Be' and 'The Trial', mostly for the large forehead type design.
